The Aputure VS-2 FineHD 7” Field Monitor is your go-to tool for sharp, vibrant visuals on set. With a stunning 1920 x 1200 resolution and a pixel density of 323 PPI, it delivers crystal-clear images, text, and colours – no matter the shooting environment. The 7” display packs 2.3 million pixels, ensuring every detail pops, while its 450 cd/m² brightness and 1200:1 contrast ratio guarantee crisp, vivid footage. Thanks to 160° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, you’ll have a clear view from nearly any position.

Versatile input options include HDMI, SD/HD component, and composite, and with firmware 2.4, the monitor supports UHD 30, 25, and 24 fps. The monitor also boasts a range of useful display functions, including aspect ratio selection, centre marker, and monochrome modes (in grey, red, green, or blue). Plus, with features like histogram, peaking, false colour, zebra bars, and a volume bar, you can fine-tune your shot precisely.

The intuitive front-panel controls make it easy to switch power, input, and menu settings, while you can easily add safe area guides and adjust the centre marker. Power options are flexible, with the ability to use the coax connector or Sony F970, F550, and NP-FM500H type batteries (sold separately). Mounting is a breeze thanks to the 1/4"-20 threaded hole, and the included ball joint shoe mount and removable sun hood make it ideal for all shooting conditions.

The VS-2 is equipped with the necessary exposure control features including false colour, histogram, and zebra to help you monitor, control, and maintain exposure levels regardless of shooting conditions.
Capturing true exposure data in your image, even under extremely bright sunny outdoor conditions, is quick, accurate, and reliable.

Embedded Audio Monitoring

Built-in audio check level meters in real-time are displayed on the monitor while viewing the image.
Audio meters are colour-marked green, yellow and red to help identify clipping points and low recording levels.
This feature works only when the connected camera has an audio output.
