AJA OG-FiDO-4R-12G Bringing Camera Feeds Back to Production
4-Channel 12G-SDI to Single-Mode LC Fiber Transmitter
Large live productions can place cameras far beyond the practical reach of copper SDI cabling. In this workflow, four 12G-SDI camera signals from a live event stage are transported over single mode fiber for distances up to 10 km (32,808 ft). Installed in the OB truck, the OG-FiDO-4R-12G receives all four optical signals and converts them to independent 12G-SDI outputs for the production switcher. Four receive channels on a single card provide a high-density way to bring remote camera feeds back to production while preserving uncompressed 12G-SDI signal quality.
