The AVMatrix Shark S4M is the all-in one "swiss army knive" of mobile editing and video control. The S4M has SDI and HDMI video inputs, and both units offer a mobile editing and video processing suite.
The list of functions and features is both comprehensive and complete, and allows for the processing of both video feeds along with the input of separate audio feeds (up to 8 channels) which too can be mixed into the streamable or recordable video output.
It sports six mono microphone inputs, two stereo line inputs, one TRS headphone output, and two balanced XLR main outputs—all with precision controls. Each channel features gain adjustment, a two-band EQ, low-cut filtering, and access to 99 built-in DSP audio effect modes. Creators can further enhance their production with real-time effects such as chroma and luma keying, one PoP or two PiP group layouts, downstream keying, and logo overlays. With support for SD card and USB disk recording, the SHARK S4M delivers a streamlined solution for multi-camera, multi-source productions in one compact device.
