Equipped with integrated NDI support, this professional 8-channel video switcher delivers smooth, real-time production for live events, houses of worship, sports coverage, conferences, studios and online streaming.

With eight 3G-SDI inputs and two 4K HDMI inputs, the SHARK S8X PLUS-N offers exceptional flexibility for connecting multiple cameras and broadcast sources. Outputs include four 3G-SDI connections, dual HDMI programme outputs and a dedicated HDMI multi-view output, allowing comprehensive monitoring via the integrated 17.3-inch Full HD IPS display.

Built to simplify both live streaming and content capture, the switcher records directly to USB storage devices, SD cards or SATA SSDs, making it straightforward to save footage for editing or archiving. Native RTMP, SRT, RTSP and NDI streaming protocols enable direct broadcasting to popular streaming platforms without the need for additional encoding hardware.

Creative production tools include up to six independently adjustable key layers, allowing complex scene compositions with Chroma Key, LUMA Key and custom logo overlays. Three fully configurable Picture-in-Picture (PIP) windows provide added flexibility, while T-Bar, Auto and Cut transition effects ensure professional programme switching.

Audio performance is equally impressive, with support for mixing up to ten audio channels. Two XLR/6.35mm combo inputs with switchable phantom power accommodate professional condenser microphones, while balanced audio outputs and a dedicated headphone connection provide reliable monitoring throughout production.

For streamlined multi-camera operation, the SHARK S8X PLUS-N supports PTZ camera control using Visca, ONVIF, Pelco P/D and NDI protocols. Additional tally, RS422 and RS232 control interfaces make it an ideal solution for both single-operator productions and larger professional broadcast workflows.
