UA94x8.7” is a box-type zoom lens designed for 2/3-inch sensor broadcast cameras, covering a wide-to-telephoto focal range. It is a great option for a wide variety of applications, including sports, large-scale events, and concerts. This lens enables flexibility in visual expression, from immersive wide-angle shots to close-up footage of athletes and performers.

“UA94x8.7” achieves a 94x zoom range covering a wide focal length range from 8.7mm (wide angle) to 818mm (ultra-telephoto). Positioned as a mid-range model between our "UA70x8.7" and "UA107x8.4,” broadcast box-type zoom lenses it offers high versatility by covering a broad focal length with a single lens, balancing performance and cost. It is ideal for a wide range of situations, including sports broadcasts, concerts, and other large-scale events, supporting everything from immersive wide-angle shots to close-up footage of subjects.
(2) High Optical Performance Supporting 4K Across the Entire Zoom Range:
Utilizing our proprietary optical simulation technology, aberrations such as resolution degradation and color fringing at the edges of the frame are minimized, resulting in high-quality image performance throughout the entire zoom range. Additionally, the adoption of multi-layer High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating technology (HT-EBC) achieves high light transmittance (99.8%) and low reflectance (0.2%) over a wide wavelength, enhancing color reproduction and suppressing flare. These technologies achieve high resolution, high contrast and high dynamic range (HDR)” unique to 4K lenses, allowing for rich-gradation video production.
