Libec QH1s Heavy-Duty Fluid Head (150mm)

The Libec QH1s Fluid Head is a robust, broadcast-grade support solution designed for demanding studio and production environments. Built to handle professional camera rigs up to 30kg / 66lb, the QH1s is ideal for pedestal systems, teleprompter configurations, and cameras fitted with box lenses or additional accessories.

This heavy-duty head features a 4-bolt flat base design and is supplied with a 150mm half-ball adapter, allowing seamless integration with compatible pedestals and tripods. The included mounting screws ensure secure installation while maintaining the flexibility required for professional studio setups.

For quick camera changes and accurate balance adjustment, the QH1s incorporates a snap-on / snap-off sliding camera plate system with dual 3/8"-16 mounting screws. The sliding plate offers generous fore-aft travel to help achieve optimal balance with larger camera builds or teleprompter rigs.

Smooth operation is achieved through Libec’s continuous counterbalance system, which allows the camera to remain balanced at any tilt position, combined with a 7-step pan and tilt drag system for precise control. Independent pan and tilt locks provide additional stability when framing or repositioning the camera.

The head also includes two telescopic pan bars, making it easy to operate from either side and allowing integration with optional zoom or focus controllers. An illuminated bubble level ensures accurate levelling even in low-light studio environments.
