The LUMIX S1 has been designed to facilitate outstanding heat dissipation, allowing it to shoot both 4K 30p/24p and Full-HD recording with no time limit.** The ability to record for extended shoots makes this an ideal choice for a wide range of professional usages, such as no-cut documentaries, fixed-point shooting of wild animals and more.

4:2:2 10-BIT INTERNAL RECORDING (OPTIONAL)
the LUMIX S1 will offer 4K 24/30p 4:2:2 10-bit internal video recording, 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI live output and V-Log as a software upgrade option (sold separately), to address the needs of the Professional video user. 4:2:2 10-bit, is capable of recording over 1 billion colours, approximately 128 times the data volume of 4:2:0 8-bit. This massive volume of colour data is highly valuable in post-production, making it possible to optimise colours within the grade and even turn daylight into nighttime in some scenes. In addition, 4K 24p/30p video can be shot Full-Frame and full-pixel readout. Utilising the full power of the S1 Full-Frame camera takes 4K video to exciting new places.
