Professional Monitoring Tools

Powered by MOVNORM OS, the Portkeys PT5 III is extremely easy to use and navigate. Furthermore, it comes with all the essential professional monitoring tools necessary for making accurate and assured decisions on set, such as:

  • 3D LUT monitoring with 3D LUT HDMI output capabilities: you can load Custom LUTs via the USB-A port at the bottom of the monitor.
  • Anamorphic image de-squeeze with all the standard ratios (1.33x, 1.5x, 2.0x) and the possibility to enter a custom aspect ratio from 0.25 to 4.0x.
  • Stretch leg tool: when shooting vertically, you can stretch the bottom part of the image. The stretch leg tool feature can be sent to the HDMI output.
  • Customizable False Color with 13 different colors, including ARRI False Color.
  • RGB and Luma Waveform/Histogram exposure tools. There is also an adjustable Zebra tool.
  • Image Capture and Image Overlay. Image Capture takes a snapshot of the HDMI video input (combined with a LUT if desired) and saves it to the monitor’s memory. Then, you can set the transparency/opacity of the Image Overlay. This feature is helpful for shot matching (continuity) or a quick overview of the day’s shots.
  • The 360° color grader allows you to modify the Hue and Saturation of a chosen image section. You can accurately identify and isolate a particular color range within the image and adjust it.
  • There is a built-in image flip, so you can position the monitor in your favorite position on your camera rig, no matter its orientation.
  • Free rectangle cropping allows you to create a zoomed-in close-up shot inside your image. You can create multiple rectangle cropping presets to add dynamism to your live stream quickly and easily.
  • The peaking function allows you to set a specific peaking range and zone that applies to only a part of the image. You can also zoom inside the image to help you easily nail focus.
  • Framing tools: crosshair, check field, guides, grids, rectangle crop.
  • Adjust your image’s contrast, sharpness, brightness, color temperature, and tint.
  • Audio meters.
  • Monitor adjustments: backlight, contrast, color temperature, sharpness, chroma, brightness, tint, HDR HLG, OSD Flip mode.
