This versatile mic is compatible with both the included MZX 8000 XLR module and the MZD 8000 digital module, making it an excellent choice for capturing ambient room tone, recording duets, or isolating sound sources with high attenuation.

Its figure-8 pickup pattern is ideal for various stereo recording techniques, including Mid/Side and Blumlein configurations. The package includes an MZW 8030 foam windshield and MZQ 8000 mic clip, as well as a pair of Rycote Back-to-Back microphone clips, perfect for pairing with the MKH 8040 or 8050 for sophisticated mid-side or stereo audio capture.
