Designed for professional AV installations, video conferencing and live production applications, the Turtle AV USB 3.2 Gen 1 Extender Kit provides reliable high-speed USB connectivity over distances of up to 100 metres using a single Cat 6, Cat 6a or Cat 7 network cable. The kit includes both a host extender and a device extender, each housed in a durable, compact metal enclosure for dependable performance and straightforward installation.

Each unit features an HDBaseT-USB3 connection via a standard RJ45 interface, enabling USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates of up to 5Gb/s while also delivering power over the same cable. As a result, only one of the included power adapters is required to operate the complete system. A single USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port connects the host computer, while the device extender supports up to seven USB peripherals through three USB-C ports and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. An additional USB-C service port on each extender is reserved exclusively for firmware updates.

For enhanced integration with professional systems, both extenders are equipped with RS-232 connectivity via a 3-pin Phoenix connector and FSYNC support through a 1-pin Phoenix connector, making them well suited for controlling AV equipment, networking hardware, healthcare devices and other connected peripherals.

The extender kit is fully TAA compliant, making it suitable for use in government, defence and other security-sensitive environments where compliance is essential. Its plug-and-play operation eliminates the need for additional drivers or software, allowing for quick and hassle-free deployment.
